A bizarre rule prohibiting members of the Royal Family to take off their coats

A royal rule is enforced by the Royal Family that prohibits them from taking off their coats after they have put them on.

  • Although the Royal Family has a very strict set of rules, one of their most peculiar rulings prevents royals from taking off their coats when they are out in public.
  • Once they have started to wear them, female members of The Firm should keep their jackets on.
  • The Royal News comes at a time when Prince Harry’s Jubilee Experience is set to be more memorable than ever – thanks to Lilibet!

A fashion expert explained that female members of the Royal family are not allowed to take off their jackets and coats after they have put them on. While there are many rules the royal family has to follow, some have been violated by Prince William or Kate, one rule female royals such as the Queen, Duchess Camilla and Kate Middleton must adhere to is the One Rule. Miranda Holder is a fashion expert and stylist for the stars.

OK!

She explained that the bizarre rule about royal coats was because “there are many, many rules.” We see Kate and Queen wearing beautiful, colour-coordinated outfits in which they are dressed in matching dresses. You may not be aware that once the coat has been put on it’s never taken off. It’s unseemly to see a royal lady taking off a coat and then fidgeting or resting it in public. It must stay put once the coat is on. The stylists are under more pressure because they must ensure the coat fits perfectly and is not too heavy. https://www.instagram.com/p/CeQb6cTMsPF/ No doubt royal fans are eagerly awaiting to see what magnificent creations the designers have come up with for the royal outfits which will be worn by members of the Royal Family on this four-day bank holiday to mark the Queen’s 70th year on the throne. While all eyes will be focused on senior royals, young ones like Princess Charlotte and Prince George, as well as Louis, Archie, and Lilibet, might steal the show. You can watch the Trooping the Colour for 2019 below… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DGNtgDV2R8 Let’s just hope that the weather is kind or if there’s a heatwave, we might expect to see some whole outfit changes if they really must stick to the bizarre royal coat rule. They will not lose their jacket on their return trip to the royals, which is a plus!

While the official website for the British Monarchy says that there are “no obligatory codes of behaviour when meeting the queen or a member of the Royal Family,” it also states that many people wish to observe the traditional forms. That means a neck bow (from the head only) for men and a small curtsy for women.09-Mar-2021

This might seem strange, but the royal family and politics don’t mix. They don’t vote, they are not supposed to express political opinions, and they are also not permitted to run for office of any kind. All royals avoid eating shellfish, since it’s the seafood that’s most likely to cause food poisoning. Yikes!24-Jun-2021
